Pin up hair styles like big hair and a lot of volume. Large curls are also a great part of this look. These curls are known as victory rolls. A popular look is to have two large curls on each side of the head. The rest of the hair is allowed to hang freely with curls at the end. The loose hair can also be tired back which will allow the front curls to really get attention. This look is easy to achieve. Hair is separated into different sections and a large amount of mousse is applied. Two large sections of hair in the front of the face are rolled with a round brush and held into place with bobby pins. This will allow the curls to stay put. Some hairspray is applied and the woman is ready to get out and go. A large flower can even be worn on one side of the hair for a traditional look.

While victory rolls are a classic pin up hair style not everyone is going to be able to get this style right. The victory roll takes time and practice but it is well worth it. There are many pin up hair styles that are easy to do and can be worn everyday. A woman can tease her hair to create volume. Hair is then swept to one side of the head and pinned in place. The ends of the hair can then be curled for a great look. For people with a little more hair can be washed and blow dried to create addition volume. Hair is then turned upside down and the blow dried is used on the roots. Once the hair is dried mousse is applied to tame the fly away hair and give it a near appearance. Hair is then pulled out of the face to the sides or the back and the look is complete.

Pin up style work great with curly hair. Wet hair is divided into small sections and twisted with fingers. The hair is pinned in place and allowed to dry. The pins are then removed from the hair and the hair can hang freely. Hair can also be parted on the sides. A little bit of mousse can be added to the roots for an extra touch of volume. For a modern look flowers can be pinned in the hair near the roots. Some people even wear hair bands with the pin up style.
